The Designer
Riikka Ikäheimo is a self-taught clothing designer who started her career after seeing dresses in her dreams. She learned couture designing and sewing by herself and later moved to Paris to pursue her dream. There the designer was trying to find herself in the City of Love but instead she learned that she has to create herself.
That was the beginning of Riikka Couture, she says.
Her fashion label has become a remarkable fashion brand around the world, recognized even by the Hollywood stars such as Bebe Rexha and Britney Spears.
Her timeless touch with glamour has made women fall in love not just with the dresses but how magical it makes one feel while wearing them.
